June 20, 2016:

Contractor has stated that he has a foundation crew ready to go so we should have a foundation in a few weeks.  At first I thought that the dirt was brought in but it's all from the site.

Mom and I made a trip over this evening so I could spray insecticide on the ole' apple tree and give it some fertilizer.  It has responded so well to the pruning we gave it last year.  A little TLC goes a long way. The weather report said that winds would be six mph but I think they forgot a 0 - because it was more like 60!  I did my best.

The apples are growing and, as you can see, are getting a little blush color.  I found a few on the ground so I suspect that the deer are already trying to eat them.  It was around eight o'clock when I took these photos and the light was golden.  So pretty.

We had fish and chips at a restaurant in Ellensburg called "The Porch".  Both the service and the food were great. Loved the décor with the garage doors that open to the outside.  Too bad I didn't think to take a photo.

Last week at the SDC (Seattle Design Center), I saw some very beautiful marbles and granites that are contenders for the farm house.  Boy, can you ever get carried away in those showrooms!  Here are a few that caught my eye:

Have you seen these sinks?  http://www.creategoodsinks.com/

This happens to be the one that I'm most interested in but they have many more.  Be sure to watch the video to understand what makes them unique.  I especially like the feature that allows you to remove the disposal guard and wash it.
